Our research activities are centered around the development of modern control systems engineering methods and their application in real-world systems. A guiding principle of our activities is to derive control engineering problems from questions relevant to practice. This naturally leads to an interplay between application-oriented and fundamental research activities. An overview of our current main areas of activity is given below.
