This summer semester, the GRS is again offering various online workshops for doctoral students and postdocs.

The one-year training programme is offered in German and aims at researchers at the beginning of their careers. It provides a unique opportunity to learn more about technology transfer at universities, research institutes, and in the private sector.

GRS has purchased this handbook for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers. The book is available in German, and you can borrow it from the university library.

Online workshop for researchers who are preparing DFG funding proposals on January 18, 2021.

In 2021, GRS will again award mobility grants to doctoral students and postdocs in the early phase after their doctorate. In addition to conference attendance and short research stays, we also support participation in online conferences.

Internationale doctoral and PhD students can apply until 22 January 2021.

At the KI-Camp of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Informatics Society (GI), AI talents up to the age of 35 will meet with renowned AI experts from all over the world on 27 April 2021 – in Berlin and virtually.

The mentoring program with a duration of 12 months includes a mentoring relationship, workshops and individual coaching. Female researchers are enabled to plan systematically their next career steps and to prepare for evaluation procedures and application processes. Moreover, a framework program provides the opportunity to develop networks within the scientific community.

GRS will award a limited number of GradV doctoral scholarships for 36 months and short-term scholarships for 6 months for the completion of the dissertation. The deadline is 15 September 2020. Funding starts in January 2021 at the earliest.
