Open Access Publishing with Wiley

New licensing and publication model für BTU scientists

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg has joined the Germany-wide DEAL contract with the publisher Wiley. This gives BTU scientists new opportunities to publish their research results in Open Access.

The contract covers the following points:

  • Reading access

Continued online access to the approx. 1,700 journals published by Wiley since 1997.

  • Hybrid Open Access

From 1 July 2019, authors of the BTU will have the choice to publish their scientific articles in Wiley subscription journals Open Access without incurring any costs.

  • Gold Open Access

In addition, there is still the possibility to publish in pure Open Access journals from Wiley. Authors of the BTU receive a discount of 20% on the author fees (APCs).
