2nd round of applications to study abroad is open!

As a BTU student, you can choose from over 200 of our partner universities in Europe and outside Europe to study abroad. Apply now for a place in the academic year 2024/2025 (winter semester 2024/25 and/or summer semester 2025) in our application portal.

Please note that this is the second application round and the availability of exchange places is closely linked to the nomination and application deadlines at the partner universities. For more information, please visit our website under ERASMUS and STUDEXA. Be ready to discover the world and enrich your study experience!

BTU student and staff mobility

The BTU provides the opportunity for its members to either go for a short/long term abroad and to upskill internationally or linguistically.  

Information on current travel and safety advice for your host country (including information on dealing with religious affiliation, ethnic origin, gender roles, sexual orientation and ideology) can be found on the website of the Federal Foreign Office or summarised in the following information sheet.

Moodle course on studying abroad

We provide you with all essential information and a lot first hand insights related to studying abroad in a Moodle course.

You will not only receive valuable information and inspiration for your very own personal stay abroad, but also announcements of events, experience exchanges and webinars. All relevant information on our application campaign for the academic year 2022/23 will also be made available on Moodle. We look forward to accompanying you on your adventure abroad.
