A virtual visit to the BTU for Future Day

An exciting and informative program awaits pupils in in grades seven to 13 on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. As part of the Future Day for Girls and Boys in Brandenburg, the university will open its doors virtually.

The Future Day offers an opportunity to learn about the BTU's degree programs and, in particular, to gain insights into careers in the natural sciences and technology.

Pre-registration for the BTU program, which is already in high demand, is not required. Interested parties can find information and access links easily at www.b-tu.de/studium/informationen-beratung/infotage/zukunftstag-brandenburg.

About the program
An introductory lecture provides comprehensive information about the study opportunities at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Afterwards, participants can become part of a network to save the world in an online workshop entitled "re:construction - Playfully into technical studies". The topics of pregnancy and birth are the focus of the lecture "The stork does not bring the children ..." from the course of midwifery. Embedded in the lecture "How do I teach machines to think?" is information on the new Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence Technology degree programs. An introduction to 3D printing and the workshop "Fascination of Technology"/ "Wonders of Physics" with live experiments in front of the camera round out the BTU's Future Day program, which concludes with a lecture on new requirements for purifying water with regard to microplastics, pharmaceuticals and glyphosate.
