Every Wednesday, 5:00 -7:00 p.m., people from Cottbus and many parts of the world meet to talk, laugh and play together at the Talking Café (Sprechcafé).
The Advisory Board represents the interests of foreign citizens in Cottbus. It works on an voluntary basis and consists of eleven members. Support for all those interested in starting a business and the strengthening of the entrepreneurial spirit on the campus of TH Wildau.
Consulting, coaching and networking - all of this is offered by the Start-up Ecosystem Startup Lausitz.

Contests
BTU students, employees and alumni who have founded a company or registered a freelance business or are interested in doing so can now take part in our BTU Entrepreneurship Database survey. Our aim is to create an overview of the start-up activities at BTU and to provide better offers for those interested in starting a business. As a thank you for taking part, all participants will be entered into a draw for a Startup Bonus with 2x non-cash prizes worth €1000 each. More information here.
The STAR*PARADE (Lusatian start-up competition LEX) is an annual pitch event organised in collaboration with Startup Lausitz, the BTU Startup Community, the BTU Startup Service and other regional players. Participants receive coaching and workshops and can win various prizes for their business idea.
At the Business Plan Competition Berlin-Brandenburg (BPW), a business plan is awarded more than 50,000€ in prize money. In addition, the BPW offers a large network and support for start-up projects. More information here.
