Learning Outcome: | Students will get the basics in grid calculation as well as an overview about the methods of calculation for short-circuit currents and power flow. |
Contents: | - Symmetrical and asymmetrical three-phase system
- Transformation methods with focus on symmetrical components
- Neutral point treatment
- Symmetrical impedances and equivalent circuits
- Calculation of asymmetrical fault currents
- Nodal voltage method
- Mesh-current method
- Overview about software solutions in the field of grid calculation
- Diverse exercises for manual calculations for given grid layouts
