Learning Outcome:Pre professional training:
  • Preparedness to professional work, professional oriented presentation and documentation skills, identification of professional oriented master thesis topics.

European Language skills (except English).
Contents:Pre professional training:
  • Professional projects: typical working steps in professional projects, project application and documentation, literature and case study review, software packages for professional project application (commercial and open source), project oriented software adaptation concepts.
  • Seminars with professional experts on selected topics.
  • Presentation of professional projects from EuroAquae and external partners (e.g. GFZ, PIK, DHI, DHI-Wasy, Jacobs, Wallingford, Suez Environment, Ingenieurbüro Sieker) in seminars, identification of Master Thesis topics for Semester 4.

European Language skills:
  • German Language course, optional courses on other European languages except English
Recommended Prerequisites:Basic skills in hydroengineering and hydroinformatics
Mandatory Prerequisites:No successful participation in associated phase-out module 41510 Pre Professional Training.

  • Practical training / 4 Hours per Week per Semester
