Learning Outcome:The students know the different types of biomedical signals. They are able to process (e.g. filter), evaluate and analyse them.
Contents:
  1. Introduction to biomedical signals
  2. Concurrent, Coupled, and Correlated Processes
  3. Filtering for Removal of Artifacts
  4. Event Detection
  5. Cross-spectral Techniques 
  6. Wave shape and Waveform Complexity
  7. Frequency-domain Characterization
