| Learning Outcome: | In this module, the participants are enabled to understand complex texts on concrete and abstract topics and to communicate so spontaneously and fluently that a normal conversation with native speakers is possible without great effort on both sides. You will learn to express yourself clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics, to explain a point of view on a topical issue and to state the advantages and disadvantages of various options. (Compare can-do descriptions of GER B2) Finally, the participants reflect on the culture in the English-speaking area in the context of the content conveyed and, after completing the module, will understand the basics and customs of the forms of life in the English-speaking area. |
| Contents: | Action-oriented tasks for global, selective and detailed listening and reading comprehension, for the production of topic- and situation-related written texts, for topic- and situation-related oral expression as well as exercises for understanding and consolidating linguistic structures (vocabulary and grammar). Furthermore, learning strategies and techniques for self-study are imparted and trained. Thematical and grammatical focus:
