Learning Outcome:After finishing this course participants can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. They can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken and can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. They can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
Contents:Action-oriented tasks for global, selective and detailed listening and reading comprehension, for the production of topic and situation-related written texts, for topic and situation-related oral expression as well as exercises for comprehension and consolidation of linguistic structures (vocabulary and grammar). In addition, learning strategies and techniques for self-study are presented and practised.

Grammar: prefixes, question formation, linkers, tenses (Simple Present, Present Continuous, Simple Past, Present Perfect, Present Perfect Continuous, future forms), conditional sentences, comparison
Recommended Prerequisites:Good knowledge of English is strongly recommended (Upper-intermediate level CEFR A2).
