13724 - Active Structures Modulübersicht

Module Number: 13724
Module Title:Active Structures
  Aktive Tragwerke
Department: Faculty 6 - Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Planning
Responsible Staff Member:
  • Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bleicher, Achim
Language of Teaching / Examination:English
Duration:1 semester
Frequency of Offer: Every summer semester
Credits: 6
Learning Outcome:Knowledge / Skills: Bringing together theories, methods and tools from different fields for the optimal design of active structures.
Competencies: After successful participation in the module, students are able to design, model and simulate simple active structures or adaptronic / mechatronic systems. The contents of the module are applied by working with the simulation software Matlab/Simulink.
Contents:Concepts for active structures
Modeling and simulation of simple active structures as a basis for the design of mechatronic systems (state space representation)
Mechatronic / adaptronic systems (sensors, actuators, control)
Active and semi-active systems for vibration control
Model-based control design
Recommended Prerequisites:Vorgespannte Tragwerke (11694)
Schwingungsanfällige Tragwerke (23503)
