Learning Outcome:The students acquire
-         basic knowledge of laboratory tasks and associated safety aspects
-         basic knowledge on porous materials and adsorption processes
-         basic knowledge on the preparation of activated carbons
basic knowledge on the textural characterization of porous materials.
Contents:-         basic skills of laboratory work
-         preparation and activation of carbon materials
-         characterization of porous carbons by adsorption methods
-         application of porous carbons in environmentally relevant processes
