Learning Outcome:The aim of the module is to broaden students' artistic horizons by exploring various artistic techniques in the field of letterpress, silk screen printing, riso printing and intaglio printing.
The focus is on the development of analytical-synthetic image strategies and the development of differentiated perception and extended representation skills in relation to the use of graphic structures. We aim to develop zines and artistic publications- medium and contents will be discussed and aligned.
Contents:Students work independently on printmaking-oriented image concepts. Various artistic printing techniques are presented in short lectures and their systematic and art-historical context is explained. The facilities of the print workshop are explained in practical and technical instructions.
