Learning Outcome: | The students will get a detailled knowledge in high voltage engineering and insulating materials including the relevant electric field calculations and breakdown mechanisms. |
Contents: | Electric field strength, surface charges, dielectricas discharges and breakdowns in gases, liquid and solid insulators. Processing and material prameters of technical insulating materials. |
