Learning Outcome: | The PhD Seminar "Latest Development in Environmental Research" takes place every winter semester as a block-seminar. The seminar gives the students of the PhD programme Environmental and Resource Management the opportunity to obtain up-to date information about state of the art environmental research, policy and management from high qualified international professionals from different fields and organisations. The PhD students should present and discuss with these international environmental scientists up-to-date environmental issues which are beyond their PhD research topics. The PhD students will gain further knowledge related to Environmental and Resource Management. |
Contents: | The topic of the Seminar is changing annually according to the various research fields of the PhD students and the currently discussed environmental issues. Each student has to take part in the Seminar once during PhD studies. The participation is assessed based on the presentation (speech or poster) on a topic related to the current focus of the Seminar. |
