Learning Outcome:Introduction in advanced process system analysis and design; Computer-aided modelling, simulation and optimization of process systems.
Contents:Basic principles and methods for analysis and design of chemical processes, estimation of the optimal design conditions, flow sheet simulation and optimization with ChemCAD, case studies, computer applications, examples for gas separation plants, air liquification and separation plants, refinery plants, energy recovery and saving problems in process systems, heatpump application a.s.o.
Recommended Prerequisites:Bachelor degree in chemical engineering
