Research internship successfully completed

On May 17th, 2017, Mr. Hardik Dubal, our second student from India, joined the Chair of Production and Operations Management for a three-month internship. During this internship, Mr. Dubal worked in a project aiming the improvement of the scheduling process of a German wooden chipboards manufacturer by simulating and evaluating different scheduling strategies in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.

The internship has been beneficial for both parties. Mr. Hardik Dubal got deeper insights on scientific methods and practical problems. Our Chair got a self-motivated and committed intern helping us on solving our research questions.

The Chair of Production and Operations Management wish him every success in his life and career.
