As part of the International Relations Office, the Welcome Centre would like to help you and your family settle in as quickly as possible, allowing you to feel at home in Cottbus and Senftenberg. There will be various events on offer that will provide you with the opportunity to network and also promote social integration.
With our monthly newsletter, we would like to give you some tips and information about cultural events in the region, as well as the events of the Welcome Centre. If you would like to receive the newsletter, please send us an e-mailwith the subject "Newsletter".
What’s about strolling over the campus while listening to the exciting research that is done behind the walls of the buildings that we see daily? We invite you to share verbally (without presentation) some insights about what you are currently working on..also the downfalls, the excitement and maybe some useful tips. The idea is that each participant gets a fold-able chair to carry and comfortably sit while one of the group is presenting in front or - if possible even inside - the corresponding “Institutsgebäude”. After the short presentation, question can be ask and we continue to the next stop. This is how we learn more about the campus, each other and the fascinating things everyone is working on.
If you want to take over one presentation, please send us an E-mail expressing your interest and your discipline, as soon as possible to: welcome-centre(at)b-tu.de.
We cordially invite all international researchers and their families to the Christmas Café of the Welcome Centre & Graduate Research School.
