Who Should Attend?
This event is designed for individuals interested in starting their own business, including those with an international background, international students, and researchers. Participants should be at least 18 years old, open-minded, curious, and ready to share and refine their great ideas. While prior startup experience is beneficial, it's not a prerequisite. All workshops will be conducted in English.
What to Expect
The program includes a dynamic mix of workshops, discussion rounds, "Pizza Talks," "After Work Beer," networking sessions, pitch events, and informative lectures over three days. The hands-on workshops will cover essential topics such as Design Thinking, Product Labelling, and Pitch Training, focusing on storytelling. The lectures will delve into crucial areas like residency rights for foreign founders and financing & funding opportunities, providing a solid foundation for launching a startup in Germany and beyond.

- Workshops: Engage in practical workshops on Design Thinking, Product Labelling - Business Cards, Product Photography and Pitch Training - Storytelling.

- Networking: Take part in relaxed networking sessions, including a BBQ event with a "Roast Your Idea" session, where you can pitch your startup idea and receive constructive feedback.

Schedule
- Day 1 (June 12): Focus on workshops about Design Thinking followed by a practical workshop on Product Labelling.
- Day 2 (June 13): A workshop on Pitch Training focusing on Storytelling, concluding with a networking lunch featuring a BBQ "Roast your Idea" session and a pitch round for participants.
- Day 3 (June 14): Lectures about residency rights for International Founders and Financing and Funding Opportunities. Concluding the Summer School with a practical workshop on Product Photography.
Outcome
Participants will leave the workshop equipped with knowledge on key topics such as residency rights, financing, and design thinking. Moreover, they'll gain valuable pitch training and discover the vibrant work opportunities at COLab. Most importantly, attendees will connect with vital partners in the startup ecosystem.
