Laboratory for AI-controlled robotic industrial machines

The HORST1400 robot system was provided and commissioned by the Lusatian industrial partner IBK.

The laboratory for AI-controlled robotic industrial machines is available for testing on prototypes.
The aim is to develop AI methods for medium-sized special machine construction.
The AI-equipped product handling system consists of an industrial robot and a conveyor belt.
Image processing and pattern recognition methods are used to determine the position of the components. The robot uses this information to grip the parts and bring them into a defined processing position.
