Contact and initial information
If you are a student at BTU and are interested in writing a thesis under the supervision of the Chair of Energy Economics, please contact Maximilian Bernecker by e-mail at maximilian.bernecker@b-tu.de.
He is the coordinator for theses at the chair. Interested students should first familiarise themselves with the topics offered on the chair's website. If none of the topics offered are of interest to you (or no free topics are available), you can suggest your own topic.
This topic must be in line with the scientific orientation of the chair.
When you contact us, we will need the following information:
- CV stating your academic background and qualifications,
- current transcript of records and
- a topic offered by the chair that interests you or a detailed, structured topic idea of approximately one A4 page (excerpt, bullet points are possible)
- your own topic proposal
After your request, the chair will let you know whether your proposal can be implemented. If supervision is possible, you will receive all the information you need to write your thesis from the Chair of Energy Economics.
