Contact person and first information
If you are a student at BTU interested in writing a thesis supervised by the Chair of Energy Economics, please email Maximilian Bernecker at maximilian.bernecker@b-tu.de. He is the thesis coordinator for the Chair. Interested students should first familiarise themselves with the topics offered on the Chair's website. If none of the offered topics are of interest (or no free topics are available), you may propose your own topic. This topic must align with the scientific orientation of the Chair.
When you contact us, we require the following information:
- Curriculum vitae outlining your academic background and qualifications,
- Current transcript of records, and
- Chair’s offered topic you are interested in, or a detailed, approx. on one A4 page, structured idea of a topic (excerpt, bullet points are possible)
Following your request, the Chair will inform you whether your proposal can be implemented. If supervision is possible, you will receive all the necessary information from the Chair of Energy Economics regarding the writing of your thesis.
