This July, students of the World Heritage Studies Master’s programme and members of the UNESCO Chair in Heritage Studies at BTU had the opportunity to meet and engage in a discussion with the Director General of UNESCO, Khaled El-Enany. The conversation focused on UNESCO’s work and the significance of culture and intercultural exchange within the World Heritage Programme. The meeting provided students with an opportunity to share their perspectives and interests in the field of Heritage Studies and to discuss UNESCO’s role in promoting international cooperation and global peace.
