This module equips students with the competencies needed to successfully complete their Master‘s thesis, introducing them to the range of research methods used across the disciplines contributing to World Heritage Studies and supporting them in formulating a coherent research question. Students learn to design, plan, and carry out empirical research appropriate to their chosen topic and feasible within their time frame. Emphasis is put on establishing a clear analytical relationship between empirical material, methodology and conceptual frameworks.
