Practical instructor for healthcare professions Certificate programme
AIM
The scientific further training programme to become a practical instructor in health and social professions is aimed at staff members who take on pedagogical tasks in institutions and would like to participate in the training of new professionals. Participants acquire pedagogical skills for planning, organising and evaluating practical guidance for trainees.
TARGET GROUP
This training is aimed at Staff Members in the health and social professions.
The content is taught in a target group- and activity-orientated manner. Participants' professional experience is reflected upon and consciously incorporated into the lesson design.
Module 1 - Becoming a practical instructor (PAL1)
Module 2 - Shaping communication and relationships (PAL2)
Module 3 - Shaping instruction processes (PAL3)
Module 4 - Differentiating learning locations and shaping learning processes (PAL4)
Module 5 - Internship (PAL5)
The training period is 8 months. The 300 hours are divided as follows:
- Attendance incl. examination with 260 teaching units
- Internship with 40 teaching units
- Completed vocational training in a healthcare or social profession
- Relevant professional activity of at least two years before the start of the training programme
After successful participation, you will receive a university certificate with recognised credits.
Voluntary registration: You can gain points for the modules as part of the voluntary registration for professional carers.
