Practice-integrated study programme in Primary Education: The university pearl of the month October goes to Brandenburg

With its practice-integrated study programme in primary education, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) shows what contemporary teacher training can look like. The study programme is characterized by alternative teaching-learning methods and semester-long internships in partner schools and shows the perspective for a dual teacher training program.

The Mission Foundation starts at the BTU

From the idea to success is the motto on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Startblock B2 start-up center at the main campus in Cottbus. Students and Staff Members, Graduates of the University, but in particular also Company Representatives, Investors and Start-up Interested Parties from Cottbus and the region are invited.

Online lectures on structural change in lignite mining areas

Jo Achermann says goodbye to the BTU with an exhibition

The art as a sculptor, a number of artistic projects in Cottbus and the region accompanied his work as a professor at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. After 29 years, Prof. Jo Achermann leaves the university in retirement not without another project - the exhibition "Aus - Klang Jo Achermann Oberkirche Formen".
