Textile innovations for outpatient healthcare

Therapy scientists at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) are investigating the use of future technologies for successful ageing. In a new project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and focusing on Upper Lusatia, the university is working closely with companies.

Experience the future - here and now at DLR_School_Lab

The 16 school laboratories of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) across Germany, including the still young DLR_School_Lab at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU), have so far recorded a total of 500,000 participants in their experiments. They have now celebrated this together.

BTU team Lausitz Dynamics energy-efficiently on course for France

Once again, students from the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) are competing in one of the world's largest energy efficiency competitions. With their battery-powered vehicle LaDyGator, they want to face the international competition in Nogaro in the south of France from May 19 to 24, 2024.

The hands-on project "Discover soil" provides information

The new dates have been set: in Spremberg and Welzow, other interested parties can now find out more about the project and take part in the investigations into soil quality in Lusatia. The Citizen Science project also aims to raise awareness of environmental issues and sensible soil use.
