3. Vast Activities and Major Philatelic Campaign (1963-1968)
3.1. International Philatelic Campaign continued, 1963.
In June 1963, Egyptian Government chooses the project to cut and transfer the two temples of Abu Simbel. In November 1963, in the Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Campaign and representatives of donor states in Cairo signed the agreement for carrying out the project of cutting and transferring the temple of Abu Simbel. Dismantling, cutting and transfer of the temple of Beit al-Wali and Wadi es-Sebua and of the Tomb of Pennut at Aniba with a financial contribution from the United States of America; dismantling and transfer of the temples of Dendur, Dakka and Maharraqa under the supervision of the Egyptian Antiquities Service continued. Dismantling, transfer and reconstruction in Khartoum by the Sudanese Antiquities Service of: - the remains of the temple of Aksha with a financial contribution from France. - the temples of Buhen with a financial contribution from the United Kingdom and the United States of America - the temples of Semna East with a financial contribution from the Netherlands, and Semna West with a financial contribution from Belgium. The reconstruction of the temple of Kalabsha by the Federal Republic of Germany was completed.
On this year, along with Egypt (UAR) and UAR Palestine, five more countries joined in the philatelic campaign for saving the Nubian Monuments.
i. United Arab Republic (Egypt)

3.2. Major Dive into the International Philatelic Campaign, 1964 (Part - 01).
In Spring, Evacuation of population starts in Nubia. Around 100,000 people were evacuated in Sudan and in Egypt. In Egypt, the majority of the Nubians were moved to "New Nubia". Housing and facilities were built for 47 village units whose relationship to each other approximated that in Old Nubia. Excavations finished up to Second Cataract. First dam construction stage completed. Water of the lake created by the Aswan High Dam began to rise. With the assistance of Italy, Work carried out by Egyptian Antiquities Service to cut the chapel of Ellesyia.
On this year, the highest number of Government Postal Authority participated in the Philatelic Campaign. Along with Egypt (UAR) and Sudan, 27 other countries issued postage stamps, First Day Cover and First Day Commemorative cancel on Save the Nubian Monuments.
ix. Republic of Guinea

3.2. Major Dive into the International Philatelic Campaign, 1964 (Part - 02).
In 1964 The work to save the temples of Abu Simbel Begin in April by cutting it into pieces and taking to a higher ground. In the summer months, Cutting and dismantling of the temple of Derr., Cutting of fragments of the temple of Gerf Husein and the chapels of Qasr Ibrim was done.
3.2. Major Dive into the International Philatelic Campaign, 1964 (Part - 03).

3.3. Major Dive into the International Philatelic Campaign, 1965.
In 1965 Dismantling of the pronaos of the temple of Amada and transfer on rails of the sanctuary by France and the excavations in Egyptian Nubia were completed. .
On this year, only five countries joined the philatelic campaign including Egypt.
3.4. Major Dive into the International Philatelic Campaign, 1966.
In 1966, six countries joined the International Philatelic Campaign along with Egypt.
3.5. International Philatelic Campaign Continued, 1967.
1967 – Halfway towards the reconstruction of the Abu Simbel Temple.
On this year, only Kuwait has re-joined in the philatelic Campaign.
