IUFRO 2024

forest conference in Stockholm

IUFRO World Congresses are among the largest forest-related events in the world. IUFRO World Congresses are interdisciplinary and inclusive, providing a forum for scientists and stakeholders to discuss technical and societal issues in forest-related research, policy-making, and management. For host countries and partner organizations, IUFRO World Congresses provide a global stage to showcase their region and activities. Since the first Congress, one year after IUFRO's founding in 1893, Congresses have generally been held every five years in different parts of the world. The Congress in plenary session is also the General Assembly of IUFRO members.
