Sustainable Business Concept

Join our Sustainable Business Concept workshop on 10 July 2025, 10:00–16:30 in Cottbus, Startblock B2.

The sustainability workshop outlines the process from vision to purpose to impact.

Participants are guided through different methods to identify their sustainable aspects in the concept of their business idea and the impact.

Firstly, the internal perspective is worked on to match the ‘why’ with the ‘what’ in terms of sustainable action, the actual impact. It serves to develop a logic model based on the business concept. It will also be discussed how to determine key figures on ‘soft sustainable facts’.

Using the sustainability assessment of business start-ups from the DIN, participants will be able to think critically about the positive and negative impact of their business actions. The aim of the workshop is to precisely define the concise solutions for social and/or environmental impacts.

This event is organized in cooperation with STIC Wirtschaftsfördergesellschaft and the Businessplan-Wettbewerb Berlin-Brandenburg (BPW).

Anett Lommatzsch (manus ordinans)

Anett Lommatzsch has been working as a facilitator in sustainable organizational and strategic development since 2011. Here she focuses on change management and business innovation for start-ups and SMEs. She is an HU alumna and holds a master's degree in English/American Studies, Political Science and Sociology. Through her qualifications in results-oriented coaching (abf e.V.) and as a train-the-trainer (IHK Berlin) as well as in management (TÜV Nord Akademie) and in agile working methods such as Design Thinking (HPI) and Lego® Serious® Play, she combines different approaches in the process as required.
