Deans
The dean heads the faculty and represents the department within the university. He or she is elected by the faculty council on the recommendation of the president for a term of four years.
Tasks of the dean:
- drawing up development concept
- coordinating research and teaching
- organising studies and examinations
- ensuring that the courses offered comply with the study regulations
- deciding on the deployment of faculty staff
- making proposals to the Faculty Council on the establishment of faculty institutions and the appointment of their heads
- distributing the funds and positions allocated to the faculty
- regularly preparing the teaching and research report for the President
- evaluating the structural units of the faculty with the participation of the faculty
