Research interest

My research focuses on community composition in different land-use contexts and on ecosystem functioning. Here, traits might help to relate biodiversity to ecosystem services/disservices. Currently, I apply a variety of statistical analyses to synthesize existing land-use, community composition, and ecosystem functioning data from six European countries (EU-BiodivERsA-FunProd). With this, I hope to obtain a better understanding of the interplay between functional diversity and productivity/human well-being.
