The inaugural launch of the International Journal of Documentary Heritage (IJODH), is taking place on the 21st of May 2025, at 11:00 a.m. GMT, online. Anca Claudia Prodan, Ph.D., who is member of the Editorial Board, takes part on behalf of the Chair of Technoscience Studies. The first journal issue was published recently, just in December 2024, and it includes a contribution prepared jointly by the Chair of Technoscience Studies and the Institute Heritage Studies under the title “The Future of the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme: A Discussion Paper”.

The International Journal of Documentary Heritage is a thematic, annual publication of the International Centre for Documentary Heritage (ICDH) under the auspices of UNESCO, and so far the only Category 2 Centre for documentary heritage. Being the first academic journal dedicated to the subject of documentary heritage, it fills an important gap within Heritage Studies scholarship, and it contributes to promoting best practices across related fields.
