Final push for applications to BTU study programmes

The new academic year is just round the corner: the Online-Portals for Master’s programmes with no entry requirements will remain open until 31 August 2026. Those interested in a Bachelor’s degree can submit an application up to and including 15 September 2026.

Back from the holidays and looking ahead to this new chapter in their lives: many young people already know how they want to shape their future after school or university. Others have left the decision open for now. Application portals are still open – at least for most courses without admission restrictions. Now is exactly the right time to take advantage of personalised advisory services to find out more about course content, procedures and funding options.

For those who are not yet sure which study programme is really right for them, the BTU offers the Orientation Studies Programme: for one year, prospective students have the opportunity to try out various study programmes. Intensive support right through to choosing a study programme or career path brings many benefits for personal development.

Consultation hours at the Central Student Guidance and Counselling Service

The student guidance and counselling service at the Brandenburg University of Technology is available in Cottbus and Senftenberg to answer questions and provide information.
