Mock exam
The pretest for students taking the exam in Math1 or Math2 for the third time is scheduled for
Monday, February 1st 2016 11:30am to 1pm in ZHG/SR2.
Topics of the tutorial:
- Laws of powers and roots; binomials
- Simplifying terms, factorising, and working with algebraic fractions
- Solving equations and inequalities
- Exponential and logarithmic expressions and equations
- Geometry (lines, circles, ellipses, etc.)
- Trigonometrical ratios and functions
Final exam dates
Note
| First registration for one of the modules automatically includes the registration for the exam. In case of a registration for the module, non-attendance in the exam counts like failing it. Each repetition of this exam requires a timely registration for it in the Prüfungsamt. (Regard the deadlines for this.) Written exams of students who did not register for an exam will not be graded. In case a Math 1 or Math 2 exam has to be repeated for the 1st or 2nd time, each of the corresponding exams announced above can be taken. In case an exam has to be repeated for a 2nd time, one can ask the members of the chair for a short test of one's skills to reduce the chance of a failure in the exam. Naturally such a test has to be arranged in due time prior to the deadline for the registration for the exam. Time and room for the extra exams marked by a “*” will be appointed on this web site latest a week before the respective date. |
