»Opportunities for Research Funding: Foundations« (in English)

In addition to DFG and the EU, there are a number of private foundations that offer research funding. This seminar will provide an overview of the various opportunities available, with a special focus on the Volkswagen Foundation. We will also briefly look at the Daimler and Benz Foundation, Fritz Thyssen Foundation, Gerda Henkel Foundation, and Wellcome Trust. Participants will learn about the specific funding lines, basic requirements and the application procedure, as well as tips for writing a successful proposal.
