Dresden is the capital of the federal state of Saxony. You can reach the city by plane via airport Dresden and further by Suburban railroad or directly by train. Dresden main station is conveniently located between the university campus and the city center.

Traveling by car you reach the conference site via the motorway A4 (from Frankfurt/Main or Görlitz, respectively), A13 (from Berlin), and A17 (from Prague).

The event will take place in the Max-Planck- Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids, Nöthnitzer Str. 40, 01187 Dresden. Please note that there is not enough parking space available near the venue. Please use public transport in the city traffic. The city center and most hotels are directly accessible from the conference venue by tramway line 3.
