The Coordinating Center for Clinical Studies Brandenburg (KKS-BB) is part of the Brandenburg Medical School (MHB). The main task of the KKS-BB is to support scientists and doctors in the implementation of clinical research projects with the aim of carrying out state-of-the-art clinical studies according to the highest quality levels and taking into account international standards and regulatory requirements.

Our service ranges from design and implementation to the evaluation of clinical studies. We are able to support clients with protocol writing, sample size calculation and applications for funding. We enable you to plan multicenter studies by taking care of project management including site management, communication with ethics committees, data protection officers and authorities as well as contract management. Additionally, we have strength and expertise in statistical analysis, and we support you with data management and manuscript preparation. Special expertise results from the cooperation with the Institute of Biostatistics and Registry Research in the areas of statistical analysis of registry and other clinical data.

By organizing advanced training events and research workshops in the field of clinical studies, the KKS-BB promotes the continuing qualification of doctors and study staff, and enables networking of the MHB hospitals in Brandenburg. The KKS-BB offers GCP-courses in the areas of AMG/ MPG once a year and organizes research workshops. In addition, we plan to expand our training offers and add workshops for statistical analysis.
