Main Objectives
WP 1 represents the central instrument of environmental planning. It will integrate requirements and measures for adaptation to climate change from WPs 2 ? 5, support the development of a sustainability indicator framework, the spatial urban and environmental information system, and the vulnerability assessment. A comprehensive analysis of results from previous project phases and additional existent planning tools, methods and processes will form the basis for the coordination and cooperation. The overall objective of WP1 is the implementation of results within AF1 into the urban adaptation planning system.

The principal aim of this module is to study the quality and problems of existing administrative and institutional communication practices related to climate change issues. The main objective is to improve the necessary climate related communication strategy between scientists, planners and urban authorities. A special focus of their work will be the improvement of our communication strategy for the WPs Urban Flooding and Urban Climate.
