Alumni-Talk in Nepal

Alumnus Suman Budhathoki shares his experience

Alumnus Suman Budhathoki from Nepal studied Power Engineering (Master of Science) in Cottbus from 2008 til 2011 and worked as an Officer and Engineer. Since 2018 he is working as a Consultant for Electrical Engineering at Upper Tamakoshi HEP. The Upper Tamakoshi Hydroelectric Project is a Nepal national priority project. When it is completed, it is projected be the largest hydroelectric plant in Nepal, with a power output equivalent to two-thirds of Nepal's current power generation.

On 2nd of April he talked to Nepalese youth at the community based learning center VHS Kathmandu / Bhaktapur about his positive experience at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and "Why Engineering in Germany - sharing own experiences". Hopefully his Alumni-Talk inspired a new generation of engineers to follow his sucessful path.
