Course C1: Efficient research in subject databases
Content
- Thematic search in the library catalogue (keywords, classification)
- Content and structure of literature databases
- Preparation for literature research
- Development of search strategies
- How to search properly
- Evaluation and further use of search results
Notice: Knowledge of the course A2 "Library catalogue introduction" is expected.
It is recommended to visit the courses B1 "Library online" and B2 "Interlibrary loan" before participation.

Approx. 90 minutes
Registration
In winter semester 2025/26 you can use our self-study course in Moodle (in German).
For groups of four or more persons, individual appointments for in-house courses or online-live courses (Webex) can be arranged. Please contact us - date suggestions are welcome. We reserve the right to open these courses to a broader public.
