Course C1: Efficient research in subject databases


  • Thematic search in the library catalogue (keywords, classification)
  • Content and structure of literature databases
  • Preparation for literature research
  • Development of search strategies
  • How to search properly
  • Evaluation and further use of search results

Notice: Knowledge of the course A2 "Library catalogue introduction" is expected.
It is recommended to visit the courses B1 "Library online" and B2 "Interlibrary loan" before participation.


Approx. 90 minutes


For groups of 4 people or more, we offer in-house or Webex courses. Please contact us (dates suggestions are welcome)! If there are only a few participants, we reserve the right to make the date public.
