Tip of the Month: Labyrinth Library
A book or journal is not on the shelf, although it is marked as available in the library catalogue. How can this be?
There are several reasons for this:
- The desired medium has just been returned, but not yet put back on the shelf. From the moment the book is returned, the book / journal is theoretically available again.
The returned media are placed on one of our book trolleys behind the service desk and sorted from time to time into the shelves.
Please ask at the service desk. - A user is currently on the move with your desired medium in order to borrow it from our desk or use it in one of our reading room areas. Then check the shelf or one of our book trolleys on the floors later or search the library catalogue for the new status of the book.
- The medium was not returned to the correct place on the shelf. Please enquire at our information desk or use the search order for non-locatable media (Central campus). As soon as the medium has been found, you will receive an e-mail from us.
