Construction of a new counter area in the library at the central campus

The construction of the new modernized counter area entails some changes. Please note that temporary restrictions and noise disturbances are to be expected during the construction work. However, we will do our best to keep the disruption to a minimum.

Construction schedule

Erection of the steel structure: start on Monday, July 15, 2024
Electrical work: planned for the 28th and 29th calendar week, i.e. from July 8, 2024
Dismantling of the old book transport system: from July 22 to August 16, 2024, rescheduled from August 21 - 23, 2024
Construction of the new counter: from August 12 to August 16, 2024, rescheduled from 9 - 13.9.2024, new from 18.11.24
Dismantling of the previous service point: planned for the week from August 26 to August 30, 2024, during which time the flooring will also be renewed and the new counter area will be enhanced with a "point cloud", similar to the points on the windows, delayed
Commissioning of the new counter: planned for August 26, 2024, rescheduled from September 16, 2024
