Research Areas:
Detection and mitigation of cyberattacks in wireless sensor networks and industrial IoT systems, network security, data sovereignty, privacy, and local AI systems for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Current Project:
Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Spreeland (MDZ)
Within the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Spreeland, Pavlo Mykytyn serves as IT Security Officer. He works on raising awareness of cyberattacks and their prevention, as well as on strengthening digital sovereignty and the practice-oriented application of local AI systems for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Academic Background:
Pavlo Mykytyn received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany, in 2018. Over the past five years, he has been actively involved in the development of open-source unmanned aerial vehicle swarm systems, with a focus on communication security and the detection of cyberattacks.
