Since 2009, Manuel Peters is part of the research staff of the Chair of Intercultural Studies / UNESCO Chair for Heritage Studies at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. He is currently writing his PhD on education and belongings in the context of mobilities.

In general, the main topics of his research involve cultural studies, theory and research in education from this perspective, heritage studies and culture in international relations, and in migration/mobilities.
