Miriam Friz Trzeciak has recently finished their PhD about the narratives of staying and migrating in indigenous communities in the southern-Mexican borderland.

Their teaching and research interests lie in migration and border regimes, gender and queer theory, postcolonial studies, qualitative research and activist/dialogical research practice which they pursue at the Chair for Intercultural Studies at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
