Mini-Microsoft Office Workshop - November 25th, 2016
The event aims to offer the needed basic skills for using Microsoft office's Word, Power Point, and Excel to the ERM students in general, as these software are basically used throughout the whole studies' period, and they affect the grades of many student.
The event will take place as two seperate lectures, starting after launch break (13:45), and ending at (17:00) with a break in between for around 15 minutes.
So, if you are intertested in improving your essays/prsentations' skills, the ERM BoSt wishes that you will make the best of it.

Day Field Trip in the Saxon Switzerland National Park - November 19th, 2016
THE TRIP IS FULLY BOOKED!
The BoSt is offering a field trip to Saxon Switzlerland.
Registration: Tuesday 15th through Thursday 17th from 13hs to 13.45hs at Mensa hall. 27 spots will be offered on "first come, first served" basis and it has a cost of EUR 5. The cost includes a day ticket for transport in the area and a snack (sandwich + drink) on the way back.
The day trip to the Sächsische Schweitz National park is a long day excursion that includes a total of 6 hours of train, 6 hours of trekking through different terrains and cold weather. Fortunately, it also includes magestic and unique landscapes coupled with great insight provided by guest lecturer Robert Macrae who has agreed to lead this tour on a voluntary basis.
Francisco Mora and Matias Pfingsthorn Sommers (volunteer ERM students) will be your trail guides. The trekking route we will follow is the result of their visits to the park, including a last one with Mr. Macrae to find examples of the topics he will cover and be sure we can make it to the end with daylight.
We will meet at the Cottbus Hbf at 7am to take the train to Dresden at 7.15am and start trekking at 10.30 until 16.30hs. We will be back in Cottbus at 21hs.
Proper shoes, warm hat, gloves and snacks for the trail are mandatory items to bring along with good ammount of positive energy :-D.

Photography Workshop - November 11th, 2016
Capturing Europe's beauty doesn't always require an expensive phone or a DSLR. Sometimes it just needs the right skill to play around your camera settings to click one. So presenting to you a Photography workshop on learning the simple hacks of clicking the the right pictures. The session will run through,
1. How to use Manual mode (Cellphones, Point and Shoot, DSLR)
2. A look into how Exposure, Aperture, ISO and Raw images work
3. Introduction to Editing
4. First hand experience on Editing workflow.
Post the event you will be given some photos where you can excercise your editing knowledge and get exposed.
Requirements:
1. Your photographic device.(cell phones, dslrs , point and shoots)
2. Laptops installed with Lightoom and photoshop software. (For editing, those who dont have will be provided with one after the workshop)
3. And a LOT of motivation.
