West University of Timisoara (Late) Summer School (August 31st - September 13th 2020) is a multi- and inter-disciplinary event aiming to offer Bachelor or Master students the opportunity to participate in a two-weeks study/training programme, taking place in the future cultural capital of Europe (Timisoara 2021), with the possibility of choosing from a variety of courses that mirror the comprehensive character of the university.

Virtual Summer Program that the University of Costa Rica will offer in August 2020, as an opportunity for students to learn about Latin American Studies and Spanish language, despite of the physical distance.
The course Latin American Studies and Spanish as a Second Language, which will be taught in English, provides an approach to Latin American culture, from a journey through its history, economic, political and social processes, literature, linguistic diversity, myths, values, prejudices, problems and challenges to better understand its cultural manifestations, based on its diversity.

Summerschools at University of Almería, Spain offer 1-, 2-, 3-, & 4-week courses taught by Professors of proven expertise in the most leading-edge areas of knowledge of our University (Science and Engineering, Business and Social Sciences, Computing, Health Sciences, Education, Modern Languages, Tourism, etc).
The summer course packages include accommodation and meals, local transport voucher, cultural tours and trips, among other services. The workload of the courses is from 22.5 to 80 hours and they can be recognized by up to 10.6 ECTS credits at the Home University.

Go East Sommerschulen werden jedes Jahr von Hochschulen der Region zu den verschiedensten Themen angeboten. Finanziert wird das Programm durch das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF).
Ab dem 1.03.2019 ist es für Studierende möglich, sich an einer der 62 Sommerschulen in 20 Ländern zu bewerben: Armenien, Aserbaidschan, Belarus, Bosnien und Herzegowina, Estland, Georgien, Kasachstan, Kirgisistan, Kosovo, Lettland, Litauen, Moldau, Polen, Rumänien, Russland, Serbien, Tschechien, Tadschikistan, Ukraine, Usbekistan.
Das zweigleisige Bewerbungsverfahren sieht vor, dass Interessenten sich bei der Sommerschule um eine Zulassung und beim DAAD um ein Stipendium bewerben. Der Bewerbungsschluss im DAAD-Portal ist identisch mit dem Bewerbungsschluss der jeweiligen Sommerschule.

Following the success of our EU Summer School in July 2019, the organisation of Summer School 2020 is well underway!
We are inviting students from our international partners to live and study in Scotland for three weeks in July and August (20th July – 7th August). The Summer School will be hosted at the UWS Paisley Campus, on the edge of Glasgow.
During the Summer School, students will participate in two modules focusing on enterprise, leadership and management, offering a total of 10 ECTS. Our modules are delivered by expert academics in our active learning suites, ensuring you receive the best academic experience. The structure of the programme timetable also offers a great opportunity to explore everything that Scotland has to offer. We will also provide opportunities to go on excursions to places such as Loch Lomond and, in addition, there will be some fun social activities throughout the three week period.

Explore the SINARC Arabic language and culture program in New York or Beirut
The program welcomes students from all over the world who wish to study the Arabic language and experience a first-hand cultural adventure in the Middle East. The program offers regular and intensive courses in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and the Levantine dialect at all levels.

Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPbGASU) offers studies in the Russian Language, Urban Planning, BIM in HVAC & WSS, Transport Systems and Industrial & Civil Engineering.
Courses are suitable for students from different study fields and the language of instruction is English. The courses will last from 1 to 2 weeks and will award 2-4 ECTS depending on the duration.

The University offers a 4-week summer programm from 14th June to 9th July 2020. The students get to know various aspects of Japan and can learn more about the culture. The Faculty of Economics and Business Studies at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) is one of the leading Economics and Business schools in Europe. After 4 very successful editions, totaling 111 students from 25 countries, UAM is once again offering its Summer School of Economics and Business, from June 29 to July 24, 2020.

Biodiversity and Conservation in the Tropics
The course provides an approach to learn about Biodiversity and Conservation, by not only using Costa Rica as an example but also comparing this little country with other areas of the World. The course will have lectures made by the professor or invited lecturers. Readings will be assigned for discussion during the last week and two main fieldtrips will be organized to evaluate different biodiversity and conservation projects.
