BTU MUN 2021

Welcome to the first edition of BTU Model United Nations at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg.

BTUMUN 2021 is a three-day online conference and will take place from 18th - 20th of June. Motivated students have the chance to take on the role of young diplomats to simulate the work of the United Nations. 

This year’s conference theme is “Overcome current challenges to ensure a better future.” Delegates will discuss in three different UN-committees (UNSC, UNHCR, UNEP) today’s issues of the international community and debate possible solutions or actions to move forward!

Besides being a great opportunity to improve your public speaking and debating skills, the event offers fun socializing sessions to connect to like-minded people from across the globe! Both MUN Newbies and full-fledged debating enthusiasts are welcome to participate. 

To make our MUN conference memorable for everyone, we will send a goody bag to the participants. To facilitate your preparations, we will also arrange an online MUN training session.
