Tip of the month: The etiquette for the library

Our university library is a place with a special flair for learning, reading and writing. This only works if all users show consideration for each other. Help us to create a pleasant working atmosphere!

Pizza, rolls, coffee containers and other food and luxury items - with the exception of water bottles - must be stored in the lockers before entering the user areas.
of course, learning makes you hungry. But if you want to eat something, you can take a short break and use the cafeteria in the IKMZ or the cafeteria on campus.

In the library one has to behave calmly, conversations should be avoided for the most part or conducted quietly! The library is not the right place for a little chat. For learning together there is a group workroom or the possibility to meet in the cafeteria.
The same applies to the annoying mobile phone noises or the loud phoning in the user areas. Please switch all electronic devices to silent or off! This includes not only the mobile phone, but also the laptop and the mp3 player.

And finally: there must be order in the library: Those who no longer know where they took a medium from the shelf should not put it back in the wrong place or on suspicion, but place it on one of the book trolleys on the floors.
