New: VDE Standards Library

In the past, you could only read VDE standards on a special computer in the ICMC building and in the Senftenberg branch library.

Now we are pleased to inform you that the VDE Standards Library (= VDE-NormenBibliothek) provides you with the direct access to the contents of valid DIN, DIN EN, DIN EN IEC standards with VDE markings, the drafts and, in part, withdrawn VDE regulations. IEC texts are not be included.

However, you will not find any PDF documents (which are sometimes referred to) in the standards section. Only the issues of the journal "building & automation" could be read in PDF format.

Access to the VDE Standards Library is possible in the BTU campus network and for BTU members also via VPN (information on the campus network + video on VPN).

The currently valid German-language DIN (without VDE) can still be found as usual via the Perinorm database.
